I have watched a couple of anime movies and series but Hotarubi no mori e is by far my favorite. I personally wasn’t really into anime but I stumbled upon a fan made edit of this movie and I was really curious. It was a great movie and I really loved it because it kind of ended in a sad way which made me cry a lot but I found out that I enjoy movies like these more when it ends in a sad way. It had a happy plot but the ending was really sad so I felt mixed emotions when watching this.
